Food on the plane home was so bad that I didn't bother taking pictures, but couldn't pass up taking a picture of this Russian Baskin-Robbins ice cream container.
Last breakfast on the ship was pretty nondescript--just scrambled eggs, bacon and a slice of bread.
It seems that everybody is doing it. I enjoy trying to make artful looking pictures of the things I eat, and I need to start eating better, so I'm going to try to photograph EVERYTHING I eat, from a handful of peanuts to a full meal, in the hope that it will help me control my eating. I'm hoping that the commitment to photograph everything will give me the desire for greater variety in my foods...and to cut back on the snacks.

Russia - Day 8
And then after the "dessert," came these little cream puffs.
Before they served the Baked Alaska they lit it with sparklers and ran through the dining room with it.
This was a bacon wrapped beef filet, which was surprisingly nondescript.
I do not remember what this was. I think it was some sort of veal with a pungent sauce.
I don't know what was underneath but that was caviar on top. I didn't think I liked caviar, but it was buttery and yummy.
I was getting pretty laissez-faire about taking pictures so I didn't take any of breakfast or lunch today, but tonight was the Captain's Dinner and it was a snazzy affair.
