It seems that everybody is doing it. I enjoy trying to make artful looking pictures of the things I eat, and I need to start eating better, so I'm going to try to photograph EVERYTHING I eat, from a handful of peanuts to a full meal, in the hope that it will help me control my eating. I'm hoping that the commitment to photograph everything will give me the desire for greater variety in my foods...and to cut back on the snacks.

Thai-ing one on
This was my plate from our dinner at Chada Thai in San Ramon, where we went with our friends. It was fabulous, with duck (Ped Sawan), curried chicken with potato and browned onions (Kaeng Karee Gai), and Pad Woon Sen--Pan fried silver noodles with shrimp, mushrooms, Napa cabbage, egg and green onions.
We started with spring rolls with a sweet peanut sauce.
Then had an absolutely FABulous soup, Tom Kha Gai, which is sliced chicken in coconut milk with mushroom and other stuff. (I would have been happy making a meal of the soup alone!)
This was our table before we started dishing up our plates.
